This course involves reading a journal article about a study that investigated service models used by vocational rehabilitation agencies when providing services to a consumer with deaf-blindness and the effectiveness of those models. Two service models (deaf-blind specialist and professional collaboration) were found to be particularly effective. (1-hour)

This course is available for CRC, ACVREP, and NBPCB credit.

Course Objective:

  1. Learn about the two service models (deaf-blind specialist and professional collaboration) that were found to be particularly effective. 

The following are recommended screen reader and browser combinations.

Mac: Voiceover with the latest version of Safari,

PC: JAWS or NVDA with Firefox

Note that currently, course quizzes are not functioning properly for Microsoft screen reader users with Chrome or Edge.
