Welcome to our free course designed to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge to assist those experiencing vision loss. "T.I.P.S. for Helping People with Vision Problems" offers practical strategies to enhance the everyday lives of individuals who have trouble seeing. Through real-life scenarios, you will gain valuable insights into fostering a supportive atmosphere where every person feels included, comfortable, and in control of their daily lives. The course will address best practices for creating a safe and accessible environment that promotes independence and dignity for individuals with vision difficulties.

This course was developed by the National Research & Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision (NRTC) at Mississippi State University.
