The Basics of Brain Injury and Vision Loss: This course discusses the cause, symptoms, and treatment for visual impairments associated with brain injury.
This course is available for CRC, ACVREP, and NBPCB credit.
Course Objectives:
- Gain an overview of the basics of acquired brain injury including causes, types, impact, and general treatment.
- Learn the various visual disturbances and impairments that are associated with acquired brain injury.
- Understand brain mapping and neural plasticity and their impact on rehabilitation planning.
- Learn some general tips and techniques in working with individuals with brain injuries.
