The Basics of Brain Injury and Vision Loss: This course discusses the cause, symptoms, and treatment for visual impairments associated with brain injury.

This course is available for CRC, ACVREP, and NBPCB credit.

Course Objectives:

  1. Gain an overview of the basics of acquired brain injury including causes, types, impact, and general treatment.
  2. Learn the various visual disturbances and impairments that are associated with acquired brain injury.
  3. Understand brain mapping and neural plasticity and their impact on rehabilitation planning.
  4. Learn some general tips and techniques in working with individuals with brain injuries.
