Understanding Social Security Work Incentives: It's Easier than you Think: This course explains the two types of Social Security Administration programs for people with disabilities: Supplemental Security Income and Security Disability Insurance.
This course is available for CRC, ACVREP, and NBPCB credit.
Course Objectives:
- Understand the impact of work on Social Security benefits.
- Understand how to work with clients who need to make the all-important decision as to whether or not it really is in their best interest to go to work.
- Teach clients how to know which benefit they're receiving.
- Differentiate between the programs.
