Full course description
Older persons are susceptible to lung diseases that make breathing difficult and may cause other problems with cognition, endurance, and the ability to manage activities of daily living. This course reviews the causes and symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD), along with treatment and strategies for service providers and consumers.
This course is available for CRC, ACVREP, and NBPCB credit.
Course Objectives:
- Recognize the causes, symptoms, and treatments for chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases.
- Recognize the services and strategies providers can offer to consumers who have COPD.
