Working with Employers: Why it is Important and What Successful Agencies Do

The course describes results from two research studies that investigated the way VR agencies interact with employers. The first study evaluated the relationship between consumer employment outcomes and how agency staff and the agency as a whole work with employers. The second study involved interviews with agency personnel and employer contacts from four VR agencies successful at developing business partnerships. (1-hour)
This course is available for CRC, ACVREP, and NBPCB credit.
Course Objectives:
- Learn how you can address that barrier to employment.
- Learn how we can address it.
- Understand the challenge of addressing barriers in terms of someone else's attitudes.
- Learn how VR agencies interact with employers.
