Full course description
This course covers Retinopathy of Prematurity, Cortical Visual Impairment, and Other Children's Eye Conditions.
This course is available for CRC, ACVREP, and NBPCB credit.
Course Objectives:
- Retinopathy of Prematurity: This 20-minute module includes the various stages and zones of retinopathy of prematurity, current treatments, and prognosis.
- Cortical Visual Impairment: Based on the work of Christine Roman-Lansky, this 17-minute module includes the classic signs of cortical visual impairment and how to identify it.
- Other Children's Eye Conditions: This 20-minute module includes a brief overview of the following eye conditions including symptoms, treatment, and prognosis: Retinoblastoma, Aniridia, Nystagmus, Strabismus, Amblyopia, and Albinism.
